    Default Displaying Lapland Longspur

    Found this little guy displaying to a female below the driftwood on the beach at Nome around 9:30 at night. Lots of bowing and scraping going on.
    Nikon D4, 1/2000 at F6.3, ISO 1600, -1/3 EV, 500mm, hand held.

    Sweet pose, sweet bird, I was in Nome last year. Its probably my laptop but the image looks bright. Roy, I'll be visiting Vancouver in October, maybe we could meet up at Reifal......I'll be going up to Penticton for the salmon run in the Adams River, supposed to be the largest in 100 years.

    Thanks Paul, I'm surprised you find it bright but with no other comments It's hard to tell. I'd love to meet up with you in October if I'm in B.C. I try to be at my place in Arizona at that time but the last couple of years due to my fathers health I have been in B.C.
