    Well exposed, with dynamic pose. I don't mind the wing blur, but wish the head was a bit sharper.
    Please be sure to post your camera/lens details, including settings, and any post processing you did. This really helps us provide useful critiques.

    There is a smudge beneath the birds left wing, did you remove something?

    Thanks for the extra info. Shutter speed for birds in flight needs to be sig. higher, depending on the size and speed of birds. I would consider 1/1000s the bottom end, and higher is preferable.
    In this case, you could have bumped up your ISO to get more shutter speed flexibility.

    Randy is right, using slow SS and low ISO caused this one to come out blurry. you sharpened it too much in post processing and as a result head looks strange.

    The image is too small. You can also post at larger size to show details better once you get a sharp shot
