    Hi folks ,
back to newer stuff with this frame , reason was the recent release of new Canon DPP software. Sadly only for the newer bodies ,so far.
Big improvement compared to old version , specially from the tonal treatment POV, a big step forward.

Image taken in Jasper NP , after following this herd of them i finally managed to get close for the portrait shots.

    Canon EOS 1D x
    EF 100 - 400 IS L at 365 mm
    HH

    F 8 ; Iso 800 ; 1/1250 sec

Processed in Canon DPP 4.0 and PS cc 2014 ; cropped for comp from all sides.

Thanks for watching and commenting to previous post

    Cheers Andreas

Hi Andreas - this looks very good. Nice detail, sharpness and tones. For some reason, the lamb looks sleepy to me. I've been using the PS 2014 and some of the new features but haven't explored DPP with the 5D3 images yet. Glad you like it.

    TFS,
    Rachel

Thanks Rachel for your feedback , think the ´sleepy ´look is coming from the slightly closed eye due to the sun shining , i guess. The eye on the shadow side is more open .

    Thanks again, Andreas

Good framing, clarity, detail and colour Andreas. I agree on the sleepy look but it sort of suits this little guy...

Cute little thing. Were you standing for this one? On foot or in the car? The latter I suspect.

Thanks Andreas. The I would suggest lying down on the tracks. Perhaps they might have missed seeing you. By lying down you might have eliminated the 1/2 green-1/2 grey triangular background that seems only to have bugged me :). All green or all grey would have been more pleasing to my eye.
