It's been a while since my last post, so here's a shot from yesterday morning, a Curlew sat on my favourite stretch of dry stone wall.

Hi Andy - This works very well with the nice green bg and the head turn. Comp is perfect.

You don't often get these on a wall Andy so well done for that, Curlew itself looks good against that nice smooth BG.
    Cheers Keith.

The lichen-covered stones make a wonderful perch, the bg is lovely, and the head turn is just right. Nicely captured.

Beautifully done with a graceful pose on that wall and a gorgeous BG to set things off. I have to admit though that the black hole at middle lower edge catches my eye therefore for that reason I'd find a way to minimize or eliminate it either via cloning / patching / content aware, or by cropping to hide it. All else looks great though!

Thanks for the feedback guys and girls, as ever it is always appreciated.

Hi Dan, before you mentioned it, I hadn't noticed the black hole, but now I can see what you mean about it drawing the eye.

Cheers guys, thanks for the feedback.

Ey Up, Neil...not long now, I just hope the hundreds of juvenile Med Pips have moved on, they're a real pain in the backside and their antics continually spook all the other species.

    Andy...
