    A new interesting look. Stark compared to what we usually see. Almost menacing. Grabs my attention. I think I"d clone out that white small blob on the right wing. Nice work.

    Stuart, the base image appears to be of good technical quality with the egret in a dramatic pose. The subtle oil paint filter is pleasing. Could you bring back the original eye?

    Nice work, you can almost see the strike for whatever has captured the herons attention. Nice effect.

    Good repost! And another great active pose of the egret with wide open wings and an intense stare into the water. I really like those tiny details of flying drops of water and single tail feathers adding to the action.
