    Default Brown-hooded Parrot

I made this image of a relatively common bird last January during my photography workshop. In fact this is not a very common specie and especially when you think that they don't come to a bird feeder like in this case.
So that's why I like the fact that I use certain lodges where images like this are possible!

    For this one I used

    1D4
    600f/4@f/6.3
    ISO640
    SS 1/200sec
    Tripod
    Fill flash
    FF

    Many thanks for looking.

Lovely bird and image. You handled the fill flash very well, great colors and details. I would wish for a landscape comp though as I think the bird is a bit tight front and back. TFS. Loi

Great colors, pose and details Juan. I think a horizontal will work better here

Fantastic detail and sharpness on this one, Juan. The colours look great in that soft light and agree re the Horizontal comp.
