This is a rework of an older three-image HDR image I captured in Beaver, Utah - birthplace of Butch Cassidy. I love these small towns in Utah, many of which have not changed much in a hundred years or more. I used HDR Efex Pro, Alien Skin Exposure, and a filter action called "colored pencil outline - soft".
The words totally fit the image, nice work
I don't mind the posts being off centre because the sky is primo
I might have cloned out the farm implement on the right side but that's just me
Love the haiku you wrote!! Perfect for this image. The outlines on the mountains really grab my attention with those wonderful streaks of light falling on them. Very well done. Those 3 posts in the foreground are nice compositional elements that direct your eye upwards to the drama. I agree with Paul about cloning away the farm equipment for a more even flow in the field layer.
Hi, Kerry, lovely haiku and it is perfect for the image. Some of the grasses look like they have Fractalius also. I like the almost graphic look from the colored pencil outline. Nice work
Love the light, the image design, the colors, and especially the line of trees.
