    Hi Chris

Nice eyes and expression you have caught here. Image is sharp although a touch noisy in the BG which would be an easy fix. I find the OOF rock in the LRC a bit too dominant as it is and I wonder if you could have cropped this a little different to minimise that. Instead of a square crop with the fox centered, could you have put the fox in the lower RH third and cropping out more of this rock, and leaving a little more of the image above and to the left?? Not sure if you have frame to do this but just asking/wondering...

    regards

Nice pic. I think you are missing some critical sharpness here, perhaps because of SS which is quite low if you are handholding. Or perhaps it's a large crop which would explain the slight lack of detail on the face. Like the colours and processing of the ears though.

I like the inquisitive stare here, but the crop/framing is bugging me a bit. If your IQ holds up I would crop more square and closer in around the face. I'd also sharpen the eyes and face a tad more as Ed did pick up on a bit of softness there.

Hi Chris - I really like the way the light is coming through the ear and the eye contact. You've gotten good suggestions above for the crop and additional sharpening.
