I love the bird, prey item, and perch. Very sharp and nice details. The BG, however, is less than ideal with the many gaps in the canopy letting blown sky seep through creating harsh highlights. I realize this was likely an unexpected moment with no time to reposition yourself - just a bit of bad luck there, but a neat natural history image!

Really nice shot, the colors are great and the pose is good. Sharpness is good as well, although on the smaller feathers it seems to me oversharpened.
