This is an older image shot on Velvia I was working on today for a print and since it is one of my favorite images I thought I would share it, this was made at Blowing Rocks Preserve on Jupiter Island.

    EOS 3, 17-40 f/4, Velvia 50, 2 stop ND,

Beautiful. I love velvia. Didn't know you could get in this early over there.

    Don,

I have been wanting to get down there and now you make me want to even more. I like the arc of the rocks in the FG - the boulders as well as the smooth rock. Very good use of a FG element to anchor the image of that colorful sunrise. Good use of a slow shutter speed too.

The colors working here are exceptional. The foreground rocks make this image even more special.
