I was in Cape May, NJ for a week to help at the 25th World Series of Birding and visit family and friends. A few hours before going to the airport I spent the morning on the Delaware Bay to photography shorebirds. Of the 600+ photos I took this is one of the better shots. This is my first photo to be critiqued.

Welcome, Arthur! Very nice first post. I like the angle, pose and action captured. I might remove some of the spots but especially the beige one at the top, if that is something you do. Keep them coming!

Welcome Athur !! Really like the low angle and action you captured here. I agree if cloning is not a problem I would remove the spot behind the bird. Otherwise very lovely image and good detail and exposure. Look forward to your future posts !!

Thank you so much for your comments. I really appreciate the help. I will work on removing the blobs when I learn how to. I have to thank Robert Amoruso for his sugestion to get at the birds' level. I took one of his seminars at the Birding & Wildlife Festival at Titusville in January.

Welcome Arthur. I like that first name! A like the image as it is sharp and well COMPed. I like that he has a prey item in his bill. And the EXP is good too. I do not like the reflection of the other bird in the BKGR and the foreground beach could stand to be cleaned up a bit if that fits with your personal ethics. Keep em coming!
