Great capture of such a dynamic interaction! What an amazing mane on that boy and great open mouth! Looks like the lion just has his hair done in a beauty shop! The cub is darling. I like the saturated colors on the lions, but that one layer of green right behind the lion is over-the-top saturated. Prefer the larger image of the OP.

John, nice moment indeed. I too think the green behind them is overpowering, easy to tone down.
One thing about captive males - you can pick them out from miles with the perfect hairdo they normally sport. In the wild the manes take a bit of a beating
