These two look realy fed up with being in captivity.
Lost the exif I know some will dowload and blow up many times but where do you think this was taken ????
Off a slide I think by the way ( been sold 7 times ) Maybe the cub is trying to say something.
I don't expect this pic to get much attention on this part of the site. This is just for those that cannot afford to travel
Thats why I posted it.-to show that a bus trip can be fruitful.!!
    Cheers

No idea where this was taken John, but the fact that these cats are captive does not change their beauty. Lovely moment caught between dad & little one!

    What a moment :)
Any thoughts on cropping it tight (say a 4x5) to include the two faces + paw of the younger on ...?

Great capture of such a dynamic interaction! What an amazing mane on that boy and great open mouth! Looks like the lion just has his hair done in a beauty shop! The cub is darling. I like the saturated colors on the lions, but that one layer of green right behind the lion is over-the-top saturated. Prefer the larger image of the OP.

John, nice moment indeed. I too think the green behind them is overpowering, easy to tone down.
One thing about captive males - you can pick them out from miles with the perfect hairdo they normally sport. In the wild the manes take a bit of a beating .
