    Default Food for thought eyas Peregrine

    Taken early this morning,there is remains of a kill on this perch,after the parent bird as given them a kill they some times come on here to eat it,cannon500mm IS,L,F4,tripod,700mm FL,iso400,F6.3,1/620S,crop,removed a few small feather's,a little sharpening.

    love the sweet light and BG, eye contact is great but most of the bird was blocked by grasses. I wish you had a clear view.

    Certainly a subjective matter, but I find the bird in the grasses with the remains of the prey very engaging. I knew instantly what was going on in this image, and then my eye travelled through it to enjoy the perch, the background, and the grasses. The eye contact with you is excellent.

    I'm loving your peregrine series Chris, and this one rocks too. I'm OK with the subject being obstructed by vegetation in this case as we can see what is happening anyhow. Pretty neat rocks these guys have been perching on!

    Another lovely capture Chris. I am OK with the vegetation - it all comes together harmoniously. Good complementary background and the bird is positioned perfectly in the frame. Good work! Cheers, Ian
