Sand Hill Crane turning the eggs...

I captured this image at Circle B Bar Reserve in Polk County, Florida. The nest is a pile of sticks on a raised area in the marsh. The crane alternated between turning the eggs and settling down to cover them.

Excellent behavior image. The habitat by the tail is a bit on the messy side, but the action that you have captured far outweighs that tiny point. I might try to desaturate the greens just a touch.

I agree with Grace, but I will add that I find the midtones bright and they would benefit some toning down IMO. Good call going vertical here.
