Trying to pick spots where these guys feed can be time consuming and a lot of Lady luck too! This is just on the edge of a plough field where there is a section keep free before the hedgerow and close to the LO site, I'm lying in the ploughed field (with permission) using a bag blind. I'm hoping I will get one with these huge green caterpillars they love to forage for, but often they fly up to their next so it's a gain pot luck.
For me, it's so important to endeavour to get at eye level where possible, I guess something that was hammered home to me a long time ago by a very good friend.
I appreciate those who popped by & commented on the previous image, thanks.
Cheers
Steve
