    20D, Canon 100-400@400mm, 1/500, f 7.1, ISO 400. The feather detail is so fine with these birds that it is difficult to show it.

    I really like the habitat shown here...cedars too! The eye looks soft as posted, and the twig sticking out of the bird's chest could be removed if you are inclined to do so.

    Very striking image and composition. The habitat adds a great deal to this image. Lovely detail and excellent exposure. The branch as mentioned above could be removed which I agree would strengthen this image but still very nice as posted Arsdel Thanks for posting.

    Very nice habitat image. The removal of the branch would strengthen the image and I agree on more sharpening of the bird.

    Nice COMP and color but it looks as if focus is in front of the bird...
