Lovely! The soft golden glow works with the texture in the sky, possibly because it's balanced by the texture in the grass. I like that the texture extends subtly into the mid-ground.

My eye is drawn to the darker area in the UR. If it were me, I'd lighten it just a little -- a masked Curves or Levels adjustment layer could do the job easily and non-destructively. I'd also clone out the tiny seed head right along the lower left border.

You must be up early Anita! I like the yellow/amber tones and the composition. I might just clone out the red bits as they don't seem to tie in to anything else in the picture. I could imagine coming upon this in someone's attic of antique oil paintings.

Awesome colors and textures in this! I especially like how the right branch of the tree leads into that upward, swirling texture in the sky, that goes up to the top of the frame. The image feels electrifying, as if the atmosphere was super-charged. Now that Diane pointed out that tiny seed head in the lower left corner, I agree with her suggestion.

Lovely colors and textures and I like the way the light plays on the distant trees and grasses. The square format is quite nice too. Love the warm colors.

Thank you Nancy, Jackie and Kerry. In my own version I've cleaned up that grass and the red. I appreciate the suggestions.
