    One of the things I really like about this one is the water droplets rendered so sharp surrounding the bird. It really give you the feeling of how fast the action is happening. Where were you when you captured this? You have a nice low angle of view here too.

    Thanks Joe! This was taken at Mountain View Shoreline. They were skimming near the Terminal Blvd side.

    Great image with the perfect focus. It is tricky sometimes to nail this action shots and you managed to get it perfectly fine. Lovely action shot, with the splash from the catch right behind the bird! well done

    Nice capture Binu. I have been shooting skimmers for a few years and still dont have that shot. Nice grab, for both of you.

    Nice shot. I've been trying to get one with their head back as they grab the fish without any success. Was this taken at Shoreline by any chance? If so, we might have crossed paths!
