These wild iris grow in low areas that are damp in the spring. What I wanted to convey was the iris being tossed about by the spring breezes. Used in-camera multiple exposure, one sharp and one blurred. In Topaz simplify I tried cartoon by D. Pacheco, a setting I have never used before, but I really liked the effect. Then Topaz Detail 3, feature enhancement.

Very nice treatment, I just love Iris' of any type a favorite to shoot as they are so different and difficult.

I love the enhanced parts of the image. There is one petal, upper right that I think could use a bit of that sparkle to it and maybe less arrow like just on that one, but that's being picky. Love the colors, a great one for a wall hanging.

Excellent flow and composition. I love the colors. Mixed feelings about the blurred area in the left rule of thirds place a bit below center. Love that petal going to the right with the yellow in it.

Thanks Liz & Anita. Anita, your eyes are too sharp! That blurred area was a blob of bright white that I fiddled forever with. Maybe I'll try to reduce it's appearance with purple colors.
Liz, I really like the sparkle on some of the petals, also. That is not an effect, it is in the original image and just the way the light hit those few petals.

Very nice Nancy, I love these flowers in the wild too! We have them in our local mountains and there is one spot where they cover an entire field. The three main colors make up a nice triadic color scheme.
