    Default Yellow warbler # 2

Another image from the same day as my previous yellow warbler post. This one at a different location (somewhat different background), different light angle and different camera setting. If you thought the previous one was too bright, you may like this better in that regard. Comments welcome and appreciated.

Looks nice. I like the pose and the complimenting background. The top of the cattail looks a little bright but the rest is correct IMO.

I am glad you made this a portrait composition rather than landscape. It really works well. The bird is beautiful and I always love birds on cattails shots. I think I agree with Karl and would try to burn the cattail a bit. Great BG too.

Good capture Enrique. I agree with Karl and Joe. For some reason the bird looks a bit 'soft' to my eye. Regards, Ian.

Hi Enrique, I might look to adjusting the Exposure sliders to try and pull back more tone, however the main issue as Ian has mentioned is the image is soft, is this a big crop?

Beautiful shot! I like the vertical composition, pose, perch and BG! Agree about burning the cattail. I would also reduce the saturation of yellows to get more feathers details.

    Hi Enrique,

    I hope you don't mind.
I took the liberty of working on your image. I burned the cattail, reduced the saturation of the yellow in the bird and applied one more round of sharpening.

No, not a big crop. Just cropped from horizontal. May need more aggressive sharpening in the face. thanks!
