    Default Seagull and Icecream cone

Not something you'd expect to see.

Taken January this year at the beach. Nikon D7100. 105mm, ISO400, F6.3 1/600

THAT is certainly a beak-ful! (or, would this be the very rare "Conehead Gull"?) A unique capture and made me smile! Great wing-spread and good detail, especially with the sun at what looks to be a fairly high angle.... of course, a gull carrying an ice cream cone is not exactly a shot you can plan for! Fun image!

    Holy Cow!! Wonderful!!!

I'm stopping at the store and bringing a bag of cones next time I have a chance to shoot seagulls!

It wouldn't be hard to shoot a "full" cone and clone in the ice cream!

lol Diane. I saw it snatch the cone up off the sand after a child dropped their icecream. A sad/happy moment - sad for the child, happy for me for the photo opp.

Reinforces the adage, "Don't leave home without it", a camera, that is!
