    I captured this image at Circle B Bar Reserve in Polk County, Florida. Late afternoon light during January. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

    I really love the design of this image, especially the amazing way the egret is perched here. Nice light and BG. The very brightest whites are pushing hot and could benefit from some taming down. I'd also blend away the bright patch of the BG touching the base of the perch. Lastly, I do feel the face looks a tad soft as posted - applying an additional round of sharpening there would help, at least for web posting. Still, a tremendous opportunity as we do not see egrets perched so beautifully like this - well done overall.

    Nice image and pose, Joe. I agree with Daniel on another round of sharpening on the head. Remember to focus on the head/eye and then recompose.
