Its never hard to find An Osprey on Sanibel Island, This bird landed near the Spoonbills on Sunday. It was a hot morning and lots of bird bathing was going on. This is one of the takeoffs post bath.

Beautiful. Nice BG, even better than one color for me. The pose is awesome and made stronger by the water dropplets coming from the talons. Consider darkening the tiny BG area around the bill. It looks like a spot got lightened up when you worked on the osprey's face. Just a very minor point on an outstanding shot.

Great wing and leg position and nice BG and colors!

Wish bird were angled a bit more toward you.

excellent wing position and details. Wish for a little less strong break/divide in the BG.

Great Osprey shot and interesting views re the background. It does give a sence of habitat in some way in my view, but I suppose being less of a hard line would be better. Not sure.

These guys are pretty cool. Must be neat to see one bathing. I like the image overall, but the above critiquers have covered the issues well.

Nice wings up position and even though the bird is a bit past you, he is looking back at you so it works for me.
I see a little white area just under the beak. I'm not sure what it is but would fix it up.

    Gail
