    Even though I got a lot these type of shots last year I still enjoy trying to get them 1d Mkiv 300mm at f4 ISO 640 1600 SEC , any hints or tips on improving would be appreciated Little owl by den9112, on Flickr

    Hi Dennis, like the stepping out pose which you have caught very well a slight head turn would have been icing on the cake, but we don't always get everything that we would like,so very well done for getting this.

    Not sure why your image didn't show up. You may wish to send a PM to Peter Kes and ask him why. That said, I think your image is so cute. Love the walking pose with the foot up as though its marching and the perch worked well here. I would have loved just a slight head turn, but he was looking where he was going!
