Not many theme images this time around. I didn't think it was that hard to break the rule of thirds! Thanks to all those who did participate though!

First Place - Clematis - Anita Bower
I love this one! Very bright and colorful. I love the soft pinks of the flower and BG with the green accents of the leaves. Very well done, Anita!

Second Place - Centered Greater Sage Grouse - Gary Ellwein
A symmetrical subject tends to work best centered and this image certainly shows that. I love the expression of the bird and the pattern of the tail feathers. Well done, Gary!

Third Place - The first Memorial Day - Judy Howle
A very moving image. The antique framing and faint writing adds a lot to the old photo. Well done, Judy!

Congrats Anita! And Gary & Judy! Funny that us OOTB folks have to really think about breaking the rules ! But it also shows that the rule of thirds is very effective.

Congratulations Anita, I liked your clematis image a lot! Congrats to Gary and Judy also - well done! I guess we need to work harder at breaking the rules Christopher - thanks so much for judging.

Thank you, Christopher, and all who participated. It is fun to win. But, I appreciate the comments telling me an image isn't working just as much. Thank you all for taking the time to think about our images.
