    I have always found BIF a great challenge although on this occasion with my little owl I have to try sat down in a hide ,not as easy compared to being stood up,i use a pop up hide with a 1d mkiv with a 300mm f4 ,iso 640 1250/sec at f4Little owl in flight by den9112, on Flickr

    Pretty tough shot to get but you nailed the focus and sharpness. The technical aspects are great. The BG is very nicely handled too. The feet are my favorite part of the image. Only negative is the position of the wings, he looks like he is jumping not flying. That makes it more unique but I like more wing extension.

    You have a great color palette going on here and the IQ is very good.Tack sharp.
    I would change the comp by taking some off the top, add the same amount back to the bottom and add to the right. I think he is jumping downwards so this comp would be more appropriate.
