Default Northern Cardinal that almost wasn't

Northern Cardinal taken in my backyard feeding area.

Nikon D5100 with Sigma 150-500 DG lens

1/250 sec, F8, ISO 400 at 380mm, exposure bias was +1.0 but that was accidental.

I had to adjust for gross overexposure in PP. Overall I think I did pretty well saving the image. I used Camera Raw and Elements to adjust highlights and shadows, pulled back on some whites and added some blacks to achieve this result.

Steve I would give yourself a big pat on the back, your bird looks excellent to me, just shows me what you can do with an over exposed image would be very pleased if it was mine.

    Regards Keith.
