What extraordinary reflected light on the water - it would make a good picture even without the bird! Nice eye-contact, good handling of whites and blacks. The birds eye seems a touch high in the frame for me and I am wondering how it would look with a bit more canvas at the top or perhaps cropped to portrait? It's your call and I am sure it will look good whatever your preference. Regards, Ian

Beautiful colors, and nice striding pose. Even though the reflection isn't perfect, the gorgeous water makes up for it. Needs slight CW rotation.

Nice image Stuart. Great colors and reflections, nice whites and blacks. I agree with Ian that I would like to see more on top lowering the bird in the frame. Thank you for sharing.

What a great photo - the water and the light look perfect, nice detail on the bird.
