Great dorsal view and unusual setting with the dark background which makes the bird really 'pop'. Good detail in the blacks but I wonder if there is any more that can be reasonably extracted from the whites. Nevertheless, a very fine capture that I would certainly be happy with - well done. TFS. Hi Sidarth, a hard subject to get right with the blacks & whites going to the extreme, but you did well. Think some mid tone on the whites will pull out a tad more tone in the whites. Backdrop works well to separate the subject and very reminiscent in both the banking and environment to Bempton in the UK, well done.

I love the banking pose. The bird is well separated from the BG.
I agree with Steve that I think you could pull a bit more detail out of the whites (I would use detail extractor in NIK EFEX)

Thank you all for the feedback.
    How does the repost look?
I added blacks to white in selective color and also reduced highlights using the shadows & highlights feature of PS CC.
Steve, what's your recommended approach in Photoshop?
Don't have NIK EFEX, Gail. I will evaluate it.
