    This is the Dog Fox in color,which I turned into a monochrome,it was early morning,cannon 500mm IS L F4,1/4 X ex,giving 700mm FL.tripod,iso500,1/640S,F5.6,crop,sharpened,some level's,lightened.The lighting was not the best,thats why I thought I would give it the monochrome treatment.

Looks good to me Chris, I love the eye contact, they look so alert - impressive little animals I reckon.

Hi Christopher , i prefer the color version .I like the look back pose , the overall colors (if the profile is embedded ) and the tones.
You brought out nice texture in the fur, just right for this early morning shot.I would reduce cyan /green in parts of the fox and the grass (maybe ).

For illustration the RP with the assigned sRGB profile ………..

Like it, even with the white sky the fox breaks things up nicely.

I like the look-back pose and simplistic elements here. Andreas' repost is in the right direction - I would brighten it even more, so the sky becomes high key and makes the subject pop.
