You've posted some strong images lately, and I think this is the best so far. The combination of elements is unexpected, but they're put together very well. Most importantly, there's an untold story that keeps our attention and intrigues us. Very well done.

Really great work Mitch. The toning adds an eeriness and the raptor looks like he is looking up to the heavens. The building flip is really cool.

I think you should ask that this image be included in the theme.
This is a strong image. It caused me to stare at it for some time. I especially like the bg.

Mitch, do you want me to add "theme" to the title? This is an eerie image! The flip of the buildings and rocks turned out great, and make good framing for the hawk. I like the monochrome tones of brown in the hawk and the monotone of maroons in the bkgd, and that it is all sketchy, removing the solidness & color of reality. My eye finds the hawk eye and bright star, then the unfolding bkgd details and chilling mood. Well done.

    Mitch,

Greetings. What an eye catching image! The composition with strong foreground and middle elements pull the viewer into the scene. I particularly like the eye and star and their contrasting color. Good show!

A little touch up in the upper right corner green strip.

    Cheers,

    -Michael-

Nice image Mitch, I like the juxtaposition of the different elements. I think it would be cool to have the bright star in the opposite part of the sky so it looks like the bird is looking at it. Nice work!

It is a very striking image. I like everything about it; the colors, the tones, and the processing, plus the bird "rocks", pun intended. Five stars on this one!
