Joseph, very nice head hsot of a lovely bird. It looks a bit tight all around for me. Also the image is a bit too bright. I'd reduce the exposure by about -0.3EV and add a bit more contrast to the grey feathers. Loi

Super sharp with lots of detail. Yes to too bright and a bit too tight. The light looks quite harsh. What time was the image created?
    ps: good job by Loi.

Thank you all for viewing and commenting, it is greatly appreciated.

Loi and Arthur, thank you for suggesting improvements to the image. Arthur, the image was shot about 10:30 AM in October at Circle B Bar Reserve. Easy fix, here is a repost with the fixes, for making more room around the bird I will revisit the original tomorrow.

Much better. Good job with the white blobs. Light still too harsh.... You might try a reverse S-Curves adjustment.

Same question: at what time of day was the image created?
