    Default Razorbills

This is another of the sea birds which nest on the islands situated near to my local sea shore. There are distractions on the original image, and that is why I had to make such a large crop. But, this crop shows exactly why they are called Razorbills

Thanks for having a look and any advice appreciated

Good action William Don't often see this sort of shot with these birds.

It's so much fun watching and photographing these stunning yet comical birds. Unfortunately, the light was quite harsh here and your BG not ideal. Your blacks look pretty good and I love seeing those yellow breeding colors!

IQ held up pretty good and a nice interaction but... Harsh light, hot whites, and the rock behind the top bird's head is brutally distracting. On a boat trip???

Very interesting looking birds William, another one for my 'must see list'. Black and white seabirds are difficult to get just right in harsh light. Regards, Ian

Yes Artie, on a boat trip to The Isle of May, situated on the North Sea at the entrance to the Firth of Forth in Scotland. Very good it was aswell, well worth a visit.

    Hi Artie,

The boat sailed around the island first, then we got 3 hours on the island. I loved every minute of it. I'll be back
