Nice exposure, sharpness, low noise in the bg. The head angles and eye contact are nice. In both images, the bird is too close to the left side of the frame, IMO. Lots of wasted space on the right, unless your intention is to add text or graphics in that area. Do you have space on the left of the frames?
Anil,
I prefer the first shot. looks nice and sharp with nice lighting and background. That lens seems to produce some nice results. I almost feel the second shot may work better as vertical with the birds posture. I think you are only supposed to post 1 image per thread here.

Thank you Dan.
Yes I have.. You want me to increase the space??
Oh. I Didn't read the instructions properly... I wanted to know how those two are compared IQ and composition wise??

Hope this is OK
Your repost has centered the bird, which is not ideal. Add space on the right but not as much as you had in the original post and you will be closer to what I have in mind.
Good advice above. To compare two images you could do a composite with just the important part from each shot laid up side-by-side in the same frame.
Did you say what your focal length was? I can't find it. Getting sharp images is harder the longer the focal length, but these both appear to be on the soft side, especially the second. You don't say if they are cropped -- that is also important information for evaluation.
Looking forward to seeing more from that lens. It isn't easy to get close to a bald eagle. Good work there!
Oh -- duh -- India -- probably not a bald eagle. Would also like to know.
Thanks every one.
Hilastur Indus / Red backed sea eagle / Brahmini kite.
Pic is cropped at 40% approx.
FL - 600 Mm. Second one is softer than the first one .... First one appears sharp to me.
Any tips to check the sharpness.

Sharpness is best checked by viewing at 100% (1:1) in your software. It isn't possible to tell much with a JPEG posted on the web. You will soon learn what is sharp and what isn't.
That lens is said to be less sharp fully zoomed out (at 600) than at lower focal lengths, but that is true to some extent of any zoom.
Yeah.. But at F8 i find the sharpness good.... Thinking of having a monopod.
Noise looks less when i pp in it in LR before export. Once I export to JPG from light room noise increases..
I have noticed the noise increase at export as well in Lightroom. If it is unacceptable I go into photoshop to fix it.
That seems strange to me. I always export from LR and have never seen a difference in noise. If you view the JPEG from a non-color-managed application like Windows Viewer, you won't see an accurate file, but as far as I know that shouldn't affect noise. Bring the JPEG back into PS with no adjustments to see it accurately. I wouldn't bring exported files back into LR -- you just want the original master file there -- but if you do be sure there are no auto adjustments to them.
