    From trip to Iceland in June of 2012. I was able to get this image between brief showers. C&C welcome.

    D3s, Nikon 500mm, 1/3200, f4.5, ISO 800, Gitzo tripod, Wimberley Gimbal Head.

    Nice takeoff pose. A boost in contrast would help here.

    Great shot! I like the pose and the exposure. I would adjust the blacks to boost the contrast as Alan suggested. Well done!

    Great wing position on a great bird not often represented here. Nice to see him with lots of room to fly into, although I could imagine a little bit off the right. Alan's suggestion worth a try. Although this looks nice and sharp, I'm not seeing a lot of fine detail, and wonder if a little NIK DE would help?
