This is one of the parents of the little one I posted earlier.
Full frame. I had to rotate it and as a result I lost some canvas at the feet.
Thanks for looking.

Karl:
Excellent preening head position, the shallow dof draws our eye in to the eye/head, while reducing the impact of the grasses a bit.
It reads a bit bright on my work monitor, perhaps a minor curves adjustment.
Understand the loss of foreground from rotation, do wish for a bit more room there in a perfect world.
Cheers
Randy
Excellent shot! I really like that preening pose and the feather details! TFS
Very nice! Sometimes it works to add canvas on any close edges before rotation, then fill in the white wedge-shaped areas with content-aware fill. It can be freaky, sometimes, how well it works.
I suppose taking the TC off would have been best, but I suspect you did not have time to do so. Good preening pose and details, and I like the oof vegetation adding some green colouring to the image in opposing corners.
Nice looking frame Karl. I like the pose and the detail in this. Looks a little bright on my monitor. well done.
