Hi Folks . . This photo to me was "Decisions, Desicsions!" First I thought a square crop would work, then crop to the finch only, but felt I took away the story? Then should I crop out the flower? Also lightened the leg in the shadow, but thought it looked unnatural. Selectively sharpened the sparrow, and very minor shapening all over ~ 26% in Smart sharpening. Used fill flash in later photos. Anyway, I like the way the Sparrow was unfazed with Mr. House Finches ranting . . . Looking forward to your suggestions . . . Gus :)

    Hi Gus,
I like your composition and image. I agree with you on not leaving anything out. This capture really tells the story...:) I like it...For my taste, I croped from the top and bottom of your frame, making it into a pano, thus bringing out the action between these two guys. I also gave you a bit of saturation and just a hint of sharpening. Do you like it???:D

Hi Gus, Exactly what I was hoping someone would come up with.Never thought of a panorama, and put it in my ever growing list of suggestions. Thanks for taking the time to come up with a great repost . . . Gus :)

Another vote for the pano crop !!! Makes the birds larger in frame and makes is flow better !!! Would work on the little guy and lighten some. The left side is quite dark !!! Love the interaction !!!
