Hi Glenn, beautiful flight shot of a cute chick. Your choice of SS gave just enough blur of the wing! Excellent panning technique. TFS. Loi

I like the wing position and slight wing blur.
I am impressed by the sharpness of the shot and the low SS. You must have been panning perfectly.

I just love owl shots and this is no exception. I, too, am amazed at the shutter speed, the truck you were sitting in must have been moving with the owl! (only kidding)

Lovely shot great action. I have never seen this species so maybe my suggestion is erroneous but maybe lower the brightness/enhance contrast just a little. As I say I may well be wrong, you get much brighter light more than we often do.

They are getting pretty active now and lots of fun to shoot Glenn. This one looks great and the face is nice and sharp. Looks like this one is from Sat morn when the conditions were cloudy. Love the pose and the feather detail. I think you have a typo. Im sure your SS wasn't 1/200th it probably was 1/2000th. Everyone thinks you would have to be panning or moving in the truck. See ya back at the burrow.

Didn't notice the typo until now. 1/2000 sec!

A beautiful shot, Very nice colors and wing position, I love the b/g but see a little noise in it.

Brilliant shot Glenn, and I would love to sneak in at the back of David Salem's truck myself, if it was possible Would really like such an image in my collection, love owls, would perhaps like to see a tad more contrast here but otherwise a wonderful image I enjoyed viewing, tremendously!

    Kind regards,
    Gabriela Plesea
