Hi Folks; This was a fun project, first a dab of Oil Paint filter in Photoshop CC, then a selection of many in Topaz Simolify Line & ink samples.
CC's always appreciated . . . Gus. BTW; Would like to thank Judy for putting me on to free paper backgrounds. Neat, shows up within PS. All I
need now is to read the instructions.

Nice composition and vivid red tones. You really achieved a nice painterly effect with your processing. Glad to have you back!

Great effect with the black, how it frames the sunset and adds intensity to the entire image. I like that it gives just enough definition to the vegetation and removes color that would be distracting from those reds.

My favorite part of this image is the sky. Great colors and textures. It has a nice diagonal movement from black to reds to yellow. The textures make it look like a painting. I also like the effect you achieved on the tree to the right. I wish there was detail or something in the solid black areas.
