    Quite nice of the bird; great pose, good exposure and detail. I find myself wishing more of the perch was in focus, but then you probably wouldn't have gotten such a nice silky gradient BG.

    Beautiful image with a lovely background. The bird is sharp and the whites are well exposed. If it was mines I would only move the bird a bid more to the center. I feel there is just a bit too much empty space on the left side.

    A lot to like here Frank, I am struggling to find anything I would do different. You have balanced the options well, both in the field and in post processing.

    I really like the BG and the bird.
    I do wish the perch was more in focus and in hindsight I would have traded SS for DOF.
    I would also take a bit off the LHS.

    Super shot Frank looks excellent - the plumage detail is KO. I like the composition the DOF is fine for me, my only small criticism is the hawthorn shoot just going over the tail.
