Taken yesterday @ 11:00 am I thought the light would be too harsh when I took this. But It was a long drive and I was enjoying Watching the Reddish Egret hunt. Added a little canvas to the Right for comp.

Hi Robert, I really like the feather detail and colours your Reddish egrets have over there, and in this, you show up everything nicely. Great fishing pose with the 'umbrella' wing position, and I like the visible ripples in the water. I feel this needs a touch of CW rotation.

Thanks Stuart, I was happy to find he retains so much color this late in the season. Thanks for the input on the rotation.

Lovely image Robert, wish it were mine. Beautiful soft colors all complimentary.

Nice, Robert! Perfect action freeze! The different colors complement each other quite well here. I probably would have brought the exposure down just a tad, had it been mine. Great shot!

WOW. This is a cracker of an image. Lovely soft tones and great detail on the neck feathers. The green background is too strong. Needs softening to blend in with the rest of the colours.

    Regards
