Here is the same pelican as in my previous thread. This image is taken just before it hits the water. Cropped from horizontal to vertical for composition. Canvas added at the bottom ( almost clipped it's bill ).

That is an amazing pose! Love those feet and poised dart form. Nice canvas extension too as it is seamless. A bit hot on the white head though, I'd see if you can tone that down in raw conversion...
Timing and pose excellent. Nice job on adding canvas below. Ditto the too bright WHITEs on the head. Can they be recovred?

Thank you all for viewing, commenting and offering suggestions to improve my image. I toned down the hot white spot on the head using a negative highlight adjustment with the Adjustment Brush in Lightroom 5. Here is the revised image.
