    Hi Everyone,
Long time no post. Just got back from a trip to Kamloops in the interior of British Columbia. Went to a place where Alan Murphy will be visiting in a few weeks up in the mountains. I managed to get some nice grosbeak images there and here is an example. Wish I could go back there tomorrow but I kind of blew my bucks on this trip and will have to wait until next year .

    Stats: Canon EOS-1D Mark4, 600mm IS2 with 1.4X, ISO800, 1/320, F/8

    Take care and good light,

    Steve

Very nice image of this handsome bird, Steve. I might suggest to do a little more sharpening on the bird.

Nice to see a spring setting to this species (I'm only used to seeing them during winter). Great job on the white wing patches. Good pose overall and I like the perch. A tad large in the frame IMO, but I suppose this beautiful species deserves all the real estate it can get!

Stunning image Steve. I would be tempted to give it a bit more space (but then I probably get told the opposite with mine :)). TFS!
