    While I was setting up for the Veery which I posted previously I heard this fella and tried calling it in to see if it would pose for me...it did .

    Canon 7D + 500mm f/4 II + 1.4TC, manual exposure, evaluative metering, 1/800s., f/10, ISO 400, natural light, handheld, cropped for comp, lightened the shadow under the belly and throat.

    Hi Dan, great light and IQ, and you nailed the pose. The foliage covered perch looks great, as does the placement of the sparrow.

    You are getting pretty good at these setup shots Daniel and this is no slouch either. Great look at this sparrow and the perch and BG you chose looks real nice. Well done
