A leopardess on the lookout for prey, she has just spotted a small herd of Impala and descended to investigate, unfortunately as it was in the green season the vegetation was too thick for us to follow her.

    Ruaha NP- Tanzania.

    C & C most welcome

    Cheers

Nice setting in the baobab again, Marc! Framing works well for me.
Overall colours nicely balanced with no apparent casts.
Perhaps a sliver more space to include on the RHS?

Great intense stare on the leopard. Wonderful pose with her wedged in the crotch of the tree and standing on that bit of heavy bark. The tree trunk provides a nice bkgd that does not visually interfere with the leopard. I like the vertical lines of her legs with the continuing vertical line of the tree trunk, keeping your eye moving upward, plus your vertical orientation of the image. Well done!

Hi Marc, good sighting and love the alert pose and the colors of the leopard. For me, the tree trunk draws too much attention, I wonder if darkening it a tad would help. Loi

    neat shot Marc.
The markings on the leopard contrast well with the textures of the baobab trunk.
I like the intensity of her stare.
Composition wise I'd maybe take a bit from the bottom and add a bit to the RH side. But then you may have already experimented with that.

This is gorgeous. Beautifully framed and lovely colours. I might reduce the clarity on the cat a tiny bit as I think there's a bit too much on the face.
