    I captured this image along Black Point Wildlife Drive in Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge, Merritt Island, Florida. Overcast day with soft light and calm waters.

    Nikon D7000
    Nikon 55-200mm VR AF F/4.0-5.6 shot at 200mm (300mm FFE)
    1/250 F/8 ISO 100
    Normal post processing in Lightroom 5

    Very minimalistic. Looks like a painting, probably because of the water texture. I wonder if cropping from the left a bit and adding that to the right would work. Very nicely done Joe.

    Really very nice indeed Joseph but I would agree with Sidharth that it may be a bit central.

    A very nice and different shot! I prefer the OP -- this is too crowded on the left for me. It feels like the bird was at about the 1/3 point in the OP.
