    Default Climbing foxy

Background is a touch messy but natural is natural ;) Last one for now, off to France for a week.

I like the shot very much indeed, the background as you indicate is a little contrasting but the pose on the log is good. Ideally the nose would not have been hidden by the moss.

Hi Neil another nice one from your foxes . I like the low POV and the comp. The curious looking pose of the fox is quite nice.Overall nice colors , tone and contrast but agree with you about the BKG . But as you say it is natural , sometimes we do not have the choices.I serially like the Mush in the FG breaks the image and giving a nice depth.
I would just try to tone down the lighter greenery in the BKG , it helps , i tried it with this frame. A bit of extra work but makes the Fox stand out more .

Have fun in France , TFS Andreas

Greeting Neil, like the diagonal log, did you move this onto the tree stump? Would have liked either the fox to be higher up the log or the nose to be more visible, (an ideal world) but I'm sure it will come. BKG is what it is, perhaps moving the hide (?), but certainly cut that OOF stem of vertical grass prior to shooting next time, if you can, might tone down the tree trunk in the BKG slightly.
