    Here's another in the indigo bunting series that I took recently. I tried to employ the suggestions that you gave me in my last post and this is my result.

    1/640, f 5.6, iso800
    Canon 1dx, 600f4 + 1.4tc + rrs tripod
    Bird attracted by audio.

    Hi Grace, beautiful bird in good light, good colors, details and sharpness. BG is a little bit muted and the perch is not ideal, but the beautiful bird singing is the key here. Loi

    Excellent calling pose, BG and colors. I agree perch is a bit "dead" compared to the vibrant bird

    Super calling pose and I absolutely love your BG. I personally like this perch for this subject b/c it's so the opposite of everything your bird stands for.

    I personally like the perch because #1 it is totally natural and #2 it doesn't look like it was purchased at a florist and #3 it doesn't compete with the bird. Otherwise I like the singing pose, detail and the nice BG. Well done Grace

    Even better than the last. Great singing pose and head position. I like the muted bg and perch, which make the bird stand out nicely.

    I definitely prefer this image to the last one!Great comp, great singing pose and love the view of the feet.
    I have always been a fan of gunmetal grey BG's so love this one.
