This is the shed at Cades Cove. It was a rain day when we got here and this was one of the few shots we got, before we headed back for the shelter of the car. It was the only rain day we had there, so we weren't too disappointed. Could have been worse. We were able to explore and shoot from the car during the breaks in the heavy rains.

Processing was done in Photoshop and Topaz including; Topaz Lens Effects; Topaz Simplify; Photoshop Oil Painting

Nice composition. Simple lines and soft peaceful light.

Excellent composition with the foreground layer and the horizontal logs on the cabin working together and the vertical logs and the tree trunks working together. I really like the effect of the oil paint on simplify. It adds texture with what looks like tiny dots with a bit of sparkle.

I like that there are mostly browns and greens in this image--it gives it a unified feel. The road leading to the structure, the horizontal lines leading to the verticals, the verticals leading up and around the image make this one of those in which the eye travels through the entire image. The texture you applied is not my favorite. A well done image.

Thanks all for viewing and comments. Appreciate it. Considering I was on the run from the storm, this one turned out rather well.
