Perfect timing on this one Gail. I love that the feet are still touching the water.

Beautiful image Gail. Terrific light makes this Reddish soft yet very detailed. Early morning reflections on the water adds a nice touch. I particularly like the crop, I like the in focus water along the bottom edge.

That is one elegant image I love the pose and the colours. I am just wondering what it would look like with a little more space in the top.

Light to die for. Great wing position and foot drag. Love the reflected purple in the water. Super image, and I like the crop just as posted.

Like the colours in this Gail, especially the soft pastel blues & purples of the environment. I'm with Jon on a tad more above.

I agree with the request for a bit more on top, but that apart, this is a great shot, with spot on timing and great light

Killer light, pose and IQ. Your shorebirds and wading birds from FL posted so far have all been superb. Beautiful work as always Gail and looking forward to more.

Quite a lovely image of big red, Gail. The calm of the water, the water droplets, the sublime light all worked in your favor.

That light is about as pretty and even as you could hope for. A graceful photograph.

That is some great light he is in. A real classic pose and I like the dragging legs. Nice colors and detail also. I wonder if this the same guy we shot a few months ago? Looks like him.
Not sure why he would ever want to leave the comfort of the north lagoon, he's a rock star on the weekends :)

Spectacular image in wonderful lights. Beautiful pose with full up wings, nice HA and composition.
I like the just touching feet to water with trail, wet tail with water droplets. Love the way it pops up against lovely blues.

    Regards,
    Satish.
